Tiaras

Would you like to make your own tiara for that special day?
Type 1 tiaras only. (This type are formed using silver or gold plated wire with Swarovski crystals twisted into the design for a very light and delicate looking tiara).
A full day of one-to-one tuition at £150.00.Group classes 95.00 pounds per person materials included.

Module 1 certification

Description: Module 1 – Naturals

The seven projects in this module are designed to teach you how to make a textured pendant, simple stone setting, combine PMC with glass, make a ring, use organic materials, make a clasp, dry construction and the use of wood clay.

Module 2 certification

Description: Module 2 – High Finish

The six projects in this module focuses on achieving a professional result.Project are Japanese enamels,achieve a high shine,set a natural stone,use PMC 22k gold and combine PMC with fired ceramics and bisque.

Module 3 certification

Description: Module – Innovative design

Create your own designs whilst learning techniques such as Keum-boo ( 24k gold foil ),syringe design, chain making, ring with natural stone setting, combining PMC and sterling silver and liver of sulphur.

July Monday 12th : Taster session with PMC

10.00am - 2.30pm  :  Have a go at making some drop earrings with Pmc. Please allow 2 hours and 30 minutes for this session.Please phone to book your time slot.

10.00am - 2.30pm : Use different colour wires , beads and crystals to create a unique bracelet.

10.00am - 12.00 pm : Use wire crystals and beads to make a fun dress ring.

August Saturday 7th : Fingerprinting PMC

10.00am - 4.30pm : Learn about Pmc and how best to use it for fingerprinting.Taking a fingerprint with a moulding compound.Carving and stamping a name into the Pmc.Filing,drilling,torch firing and applying a patina.

August Sunday 8th : Handprints on PMC

10.00am - 4.30pm : Learn how to take a handprint and transfer the image onto Pmc.Applying a name and how to file,drill and polish the piece.Incorparating sterling silver findings and applying a patina.

10.00am - 4.00pm : In this week of fun learn how to use Pmc.In creating a pendant and earrings. Learn how to apply textures,set cubic zirconiums,make you own bails for stringing materials through,filing,drilling,torch firing and polishing.Making rings with Pmc and making your own dichoric glass cabochens and how to incorpate them into Pmc.

10.00am - 4.00pm : This flexi week is designed for people who have already attended an introduction course.But want to continue with some tuition but in more flexible week.This week can cover beads,lentil beads,boxes,cork clay,rings just to name a few.

You can book as many days as you wish.Please ring to book which day you want to attend and discuss any requirements you might need.

Courses cancelled 3 weeks before start date will be entitled to full refund ,after that alternative dates will be offered.
We reserve the right to cancel an event due to  unforseen circumstances,in which case a refund will be offered .
